Scott Lockhart – Franchise Owner
Scott is the owner and the principle Client Care Manager for Home Care Assistance in Winnipeg. Scott attended the University of Manitoba and obtained degrees in Education and Physical Education. He has spent his career working with children and adults alike, developing a culture of excellence with 20 years as a High School Principal. Scott has made a social justice impact by helping others.  In 2012, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for excellence in community service. This passion for helping others includes assisting his aging parents in staying in their home. Scott has extended that enthusiasm to helping seniors build meaningful and happy lives. He enjoys meeting their needs and those of their families by designing specific care plans, enabling them to age and thrive at home.

Debbie Lockhart - Franchise Owner
Debbie Lockhart obtained her Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Education Degrees before completing her Post Baccalaureate Degree in Counselling at the University of Manitoba.  She has been teaching for 28 years with 10 years’ experience in counselling, working in family counselling, mental health, stress management, self-esteem, anxiety and mindfulness. Debbie explores with clients their concerns from an emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual perspective and strives to make sure they feel safe, respected, supported and understood. Debbie’s role with Winnipeg Home Care Assistance is to provide ongoing education to our care givers and as support them in their challenging role.
